November members' meeting

Sue Wilkin from Trading Standards provided a very informative and entertaining talk at Monday evening's members' meeting.

She explained a new scheme that's being set up to provide consumers with easy access to a list of approved business. The scheme applies to all types of businesses and the application is amended to suit each business type. Checks include criminal records, financial checks and more. As and when the scheme is officially launched, we will of course keep all members updated.
