Workers' Parking Permits

The Chamber successfully lobbied for the concessionary parking permit scheme, which allows workers to park from just £6.27 per week on an annual permit.

Shorter permits are also available monthly, quarterly or for six months and all allow for switching between two registration numbers within Wiltshire Council’s virtual or manual system.

It was initially feared that significant increases in parking charges introduced by Wiltshire Council would drive out volunteers and part time workers in particular, with a significant effect even on full time workers.
